Springboard Into Luxury Picnics
Honestly, I can’t believe it took me this long to realize it.
Honestly, I can't believe it took me so long to realize this: I have a deep passion for hosting, particularly small gatherings. The thrill of planning and preparing, creating personalized party favors, meticulously arranging seating, and crafting the perfect welcome excites me to no end.
I've been a lifelong paper-crafter, but my true joy lies in orchestrating intimate events. I coordinated my own wedding with just 30 guests, unaware that some people disliked this aspect of hosting. From housewarmings and baby showers to birthdays and holidays, I always experience a delightful sense of anticipation leading up to each event. On the big day, I wake up with excitement, fully prepared to embrace the role of a host. In hindsight, I should have realized my calling earlier, but it wasn't until my daughter asked for a picnic in a sunflower field that I truly understood how much I relished pulling together these gatherings.
As I helped friends plan their daughters' 4th birthday parties, I noticed their apprehension and desire for my ideas and tips. When we arrived at the sunflower field for my daughter's celebration, my enthusiasm shone brightly. Throughout her little party, I received a number of comments from other moms, expressing their willingness to pay someone to recreate similar events. It was at that moment that a lightbulb went on.
Luxury picnics encompass everything I cherish in my work. They allow me to play a role in creating cherished memories for my clients. I have the opportunity to unleash my creativity and bring to life the tablescapes I envision. Crafting personalized greetings, gifts, and favors is not just a task but a source of true satisfaction. Even my extensive throw pillow collection finds a meaningful purpose 😉. This job is truly remarkable, and I hope to continue engaging in fulfilling work of this nature — work that nourishes my soul with creativity while also providing sustenance for my family. That's the dream, after all.
